One of my standout abilities lies in my capacity for active involvement across multiple organizations, showcasing skills in leadership, organization, and time management. Throughout my time at Wesleyan Univesity ousite of my studies, I’ve engaged with various student groups, employing skills in advocacy, planning, and project management to contribute meaningfully.

For instance, I discovered the music organization, The Shed, my freshman year. Impressed by the events that they put together, I found the people in charged and asked them how I could get more involved. Similarly, my involvement with the Student of Color (SOC) Fashion Show showcased my skills in project management when I applied for a board position and transitioned from event photographer to media team director, all while managing a busy schedule being a full-time student and employed by 3 jobs.

During my final year of college, even with all of these commitments, I felt compelled to reactivate the Lucid Color People of Color (POC) Art Collective, demonstrating skills in mobilization and facilitation. Despite being engaged in multiple endeavors and working on my senior thesis, I carved out time during winter break to spearhead an art showcase, revitalizing the collective and fostering a platform for artists of color at Wesleyan.

My ability to balance these responsibilities stems from a genuine passion for improvement and a desire to support others, showcasing traits such as empathy, resilience, and adaptability.
